4th year, Bachelor of Health Sciences
The President is responsible for being UM-ULH's primary representative and signing authority. They oversee finances, chair meetings when needed, and act as the main contact with the FoS and RFHS. The President keeps executives informed, helps resolve conflicts, and works closely with the Vice-President and other directors on events and collaborations. They also serve as an ex officio member of all committees.
3rd Year, Bachelor of Health Sciences
The vice president is responsible for supporting UM-ULH leadership and serves as a signing authority and spokesperson when needed. They assist with presidential duties and assume full responsibilities if the President is unavailable. The Vice-President collaborates with the President and Senior Programming Director on events and external partnerships, while also serving as an ex officio member of all committees.
3rd Year, Bachelor of General Science
The Programming Team plans and oversees UM-ULH’s social, academic, and cultural events. They coordinate event planning with external partners (excluding UMSU, SSA, and IHPSA) and prepare an annual events report before the Manitoba Undergraduate Healthcare Symposium. The Senior Programming Director is responsible for overseeing the Events Committee
3rd Year, Bachelor of Health Sciences

2nd year, Bachelor of Sciences in Microbiology

2nd year, Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Marketing Director is responsible for managing UM-ULH’s public presence through social media, promotional materials, and merchandise. They oversee the design, printing, and circulation of club content, coordinate merchandise with the Finance Director, and may capture photos and videos at events. The Communications Director also serves as Chair of the Merchandise Committee.
2nd year, Bachelor of General Sciences; hoping to pursue Pharmacy
The Productions Director is responsible for the creation of UM-ULH’s audio and visual content, including photography, videography, and presentations. They work closely with the Marketing Director on event coverage, assist with research for media projects, and help prepare presentation materials for events and the Manitoba Undergraduate Healthcare Symposium.
4th year, Bachelor of Health Sciences
The Operations Director is responsible for the smooth running of UM-ULH by managing ticket sales, website updates, and email communications. They handle meeting logistics, including booking rooms, recording minutes, and tracking attendance. They also work closely with the Internal Director through the Membership Committee, serving as an ex officio member of the UM-ULH Membership Committee.
4th year, Bachelor of Health Sciences
The Finance Director is responsible for UM-ULH’s finances as a signing authority and record-keeper while preparing the annual financial report. The Finance Director works with faculties to secure funding and collaborates with other executives on budgets for events, fundraising, sponsorships, and merchandise. They also serve as an ex officio member of both the Sponsorships and Merchandise Committees.
2nd year, Bachelor of Science in Microbiology
The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting organizational and communication tasks. They assist with financial planning alongside the Finance Director and All Events Committee. The Executive Assistant also contributes to the planning of MUHS by handling logistics, attending committee meetings, and taking minutes. They serve as an ex officio member of both the Sponsorships and Merchandise Committees.
2nd year, Bachelor of Science in Genetics
The External Director is responsible for representing UM-ULH to organizations outside the University of Manitoba. They apply for grants, secure sponsorships, and manage relationships with speakers, judges, and alumni. They also build partnerships with other universities and external organizations for MUHS and occasional philanthropy events. The External Director serves as Chair of the Sponsorships Committee.
3rd year, Bachelor of Health Sciences
The Internal Director is responsible for managing UM-ULH’s membership, and organizing membership benefits. They track Student Experience Record hours, and help coordinate merchandise with the Finance and Communications Directors. The Internal Director also leads recruitment initiatives, and serves as Chair of the Membership Committee and an ex officio member of the Merchandise Committee.
5th year, Bachelor of Science in Genetics
The UMSU Director is responsible for serving as UM-ULH’s primary contact with UMSU. They handle renewals, funding, reimbursements, and event approvals. The UMSU Director books equipment, coordinates tabling opportunities, and ensures events are promoted. They also attend monthly ACE meetings and report updates to the executive team, while serving as an ex officio member of the Community Support Committee.
2nd year, Faculty of Science; doing pre-requisites for Nursing
The Philanthropy Director is responsible for leading UM-ULH’s community outreach and fundraising efforts through coordinating partnerships with philanthropic organizations. They also share healthcare-related volunteer opportunities with members and ensure funds are donated. The Philanthropy Director chairs the Community Support Committee and serves as an ex officio member of the All Events Committee.
3rd year, Bachelor of Science in Microbiology
The FoS Liaison is responsible for connecting UM-ULH with the SSA. They attend SSA and BOSG meetings, reporting updates back to the executive team. The FoS Liaison organizes at least one collaborative event with SSA per semester, applies for SSA funding with the Finance Director’s support, and helps plan annual programming alongside the Programming Team. They also serve as an ex officio member of the All Events Committee.
2nd year, Bachelor of Health Sciences
The IHP Liaison is responsible for connecting UM-ULH with IHPSA. They attend monthly IHPSA general council meetings, report updates to the executive team, and organize at least one collaborative event with IHPSA per semester. They also apply for IHPSA funding with support from the Finance Director, and contributes to annual event planning. They serve as an ex officio member of the All Events Committee.
